March 18: National Geographic Explorer at Benaroya Hall!
On the 18th of March, grades 5 through 8 will be going on a field trip to the Benaroya Hall in downtown Seattle. We will be attending a presentation by Harvard University professor of neuroscience Steve Ramirez on the topic of thoughts and memories. Your student will be coming home with a permission form that will need to be returned with payment ($10) to the school no later than Feb 28.
If you would like to be a driving chaperone, please respond to this email and let me know by Friday, Feb 14. All drivers need to have paperwork on file with the office as well as completed Safe Environment training and background check. If you are not sure if you have done this, check with Mrs. Morrissey (schooloffice@stmadsophie.org) in the office.
If you can drive, please specify how many seats for students you will have available. We will need to collect the same payment from chaperones to cover the cost of tickets. Reimbursement for parking will be available.
We are so excited about this fun opportunity for the students. Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions!
Attached is the form if your child needs another one.
Have a great week!
